Registration

The younger classes have only one or two more spaces left!  The older classes have space available at this time.  This year, the yellow door will be a 3/4 combination class - older 3's and younger 4's. 

The church and our school have a great new secretary, TJ, who is currently working on building a new website, will soon make it easy to download all registration papers and forms from this site.  In the meantime, please feel free, as always, to drop by anytime if you want to check out our program, pick up information or talk with us.  We are open from 7:30am -5:30pm.  The Director or Accreditation Specialist are usually in the office between 8:30 and 4:00pm. 

For siblings enrolled in our program, we offer a 25% discount on the second child.

Before Your Child Enters School

The forms necessary for registration are not available from our website at this time.  You will need to stop by the school to pick up a Registration Packet if you plan to enroll your child.  There is a one time, non-refundable registration fee of $40.00 for summer and $95.00 for fall, or $135.00 for both.  Payment of this fee holds the spot for your child; forms must be turned in at least two weeks before your child begins school.

You will need to bring:

An extra shirt, pants, socks and shoes.

Diapers if your child is not potty trained. (Please see tuition sidebar for rate.)

Small blanket and small pillow that will fit into a 12” x 10“ basket if your child will be staying past 1:00pm.

A healthy lunch if your child stays past noon. Please mark your child’s lunch box and thermos with their name.

Small freezer packs in lunch boxes or putting juice in the freezer at home for a while in the morning help drinks and food to stay chilled.

Parents Can Help

Parents can sign up to bring one healthy snack for their child's classroom one time per month.  Snack sign-ups are posted on individual classroom bulletin boards or front doors. Snacks should consist of at least two food groups. The school provides afternoon snacks.

Volunteers

Village Children’s Center offers many ways to get parents involved in their child's preschool. We have several fundraisers that raise money for special materials and equipment. Parents are asked to volunteer five hours per year. A $25 charge will be added to your monthly invoice if parents choose not to voluneer. Your support for any of these events is greatly appreciated.  Also, beginning this fall, parents will be invited to the beginning of one staff meeting per month to check in with teachers about ways to be involved in their child's classroom or the program in general.  Also, this is a good time to offer ideas, which we are always grateful for.
